Simran Sandhu
Simran grew up in Chilliwack, British Columbia. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of British Columbia Okanagan with a major in Psychology. Simran then obtained her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University. While attending law school, she was President of the TRU Criminal Law Club, a student clinician at the Community Legal Clinic, and a summer student for a Civil Law Firm in Kamloops.
After graduating law school, Simran completed her articles at Stern Shapray Criminal Lawyers before starting her practice with the firm. Simran’s practice focuses on defending adults and youth against all types of Criminal and Motor Vehicle Act charges. She also has experience dealing with driving prohibitions, record suspensions, and destruction of non-conviction records, fingerprints and photographs. Her goal is to increase access to affordable and high-quality legal services in communities throughout BC- she takes on legal aid clients.
